Air Cylinder Equipped with a Closing Valve, with a capacity of 1.45 liters (equivalent to 50 fluid ounces).
To achieve a filling pressure of 300 bars (4350 psi), a simple connection to a standard scuba diving compressor (intended for breathing air) with standard 5/8" threads conforming to DIN 477 is all that's required.
In cases where you need to fill it from a 200-bar compressor, you'll need to utilize Art. No. 1308 Yoke (DIN477) in combination with the claw adapter Art. No. 1315 to facilitate the connection between the Air Cylinder and the compressor.
Due to the PLT® Launching Unit's reliance on compressed air, it does not come with an expiration date and is not classified as dangerous goods.
Operations
When the air cylinder is pressurized to 300 bars (4350 psi), it will provide enough air to the base unit for a total of 6 maximum pressure launches. Conversely, if it's charged to 200 bars (2900 psi), you will have the capacity for 4 maximum pressure launches.
