A fire blanket only helps if it is the right size and quick to get into position. The Bridgehill Pallet Truck fire blanket measures 5 x 5 m and is sized to match standard pallet trucks, both conventional and electric. It is made from pyroxene core fabric with a BridgeTech polymer coating, at about 430 gsm. Eyelets at one-metre intervals along the edges allow secure fastening or deployment with Bridgehill Extendable Poles. The core fabric has a long term service temperature of about 800 °C. At about 12 kg, the blanket is carried in an airtight smartbag with shoulder straps and handles, so one or two people can move it. The bag includes a four language instruction manual, a repair kit and silicone grease for the zipper. Shelf life is 10 years, with an annual visual inspection recommended.
