HydroCO2 - Storz C adaptor for HydroPen™ system

Full description

Container fire suppression demands both penetration and suppression capability working in concert. The HydroCO2 injection accessory extends the HydroPen™ system by introducing controlled CO2 flooding after water-mist penetration. Connection is straightforward: attach the black CO2 hose (W21.8 thread, 140 cm) to a standard 5 kg CO2 fire extinguisher, connect the blue water hose (100 cm) to the fire hydrant, and attach both Storz C adaptor inlet and outlet to the HydroPen™ firehose system.  

Activating the CO2 extinguisher releases gas whilst water trickles through the line, preventing ice crystal formation that would block the system. An 8 bar pressure relief valve protects the hose network. Each 5 kg extinguisher discharges in approximately 25 seconds; for a standard 20-foot container, successive extinguishers can be attached and emptied until CO2 concentration reaches fire-suppression levels. The HydroPen™ must complete water-based penetration before HydroCO2 deployment begins.
