Vessel fleets require protected storage for critical life-saving equipment. The Jo Bird JB75 chest is engineered for lifejacket and survival suit storage aboard commercial vessels, offshore platforms, and defence vessels. Constructed from Lloyd's approved composites with UV resistant gel coats, it withstands saltwater spray, UV exposure, and extreme maritime climates. The IP56 rating provides complete weather and dust protection. Exterior dimensions of 900 x 2395 x 890 mm with interior depth 827 mm accommodate multiple lifejacket sets or survival suits. 

The aperture measures 2294W x 680H mm for straightforward access. EPDM sealing around the lid aperture prevents water ingress. All hardware - hinges, catches, fasteners - uses 316 stainless steel for long-term corrosion resistance. The high-rigidity composite design balances durability with light weight (61 kg), enabling single-person installation and repositioning.
