The Jo Bird JB38 cabinet is a fibreglass storage solution designed for basket-type stretchers aboard commercial vessels and offshore installations. Constructed from 3-4 mm nominal thickness GRP (glass-reinforced plastic), the cabinet resists saltwater corrosion and UV damage across global maritime operations. The IP56 rating provides comprehensive weather protection - dust and water resistant to pressures typical of deck environments.
Interior dimensions accommodate standard basket stretchers: aperture 2197H x 606W mm, internal depth 220 mm. Exterior dimensions (2347H x 766W x 282D mm) and 32 kg weight suit deck mounting on all vessel sizes. Green RAL6029 colour aids crew identification during emergency operations. Approved by Lloyd's Register and American Bureau of Shipping, the cabinet meets international maritime standards for commercial shipping, cruise operations, offshore wind, oil and gas, and defence vessels.
