Offshore and marine crews require protected storage for firefighting gear and breathing apparatus. The Jo Bird JB17.600FE cabinet is engineered for shipboard deployment, storing 4 complete sets of firefighter's clothing, 4 SCBA units, and 4 SCBA cylinders. Manufactured from Lloyd's approved composites with UV stabilised gelcoat, it withstands saltwater spray, UV exposure, and extreme marine environments.  
The IP56 rating provides complete weatherproof protection. Red RAL3000 colouring aids crew identification and visibility in emergency scenarios. Interior features include a uniform hang rail, helmet and glove shelf, BA clips for SCBA security, and nylon straps for cylinder retention. The interlocking double doors feature 316 stainless steel L handles enabling rapid access.  
EPDM seals around the aperture prevent water and salt ingress. At 2025 x 1395 x 600 mm and 69 kg, the cabinet suits deck mounting on commercial vessels, offshore platforms, and defence vessels. 316 stainless steel hinges, bolts, and fasteners resist corrosion. Lloyd's Register and ABS approvals confirm maritime compliance. Optional fire retardant composites, alternative colours, and heating/insulation upgrades available.
