The Daniamant SL8005 is a salinometer engineered for freshwater generators and boiler systems aboard commercial vessels. Monitoring dissolved salt content protects water quality and equipment performance. The 0–200 ppm measuring range covers salinity levels typical of marine freshwater generation systems. Temperature compensation across 0–100 °C ensures stable, accurate readings under varying operational conditions. A built-in high salinity warning alerts your crew when filtration becomes compromised, allowing intervention before water quality deteriorates.
The monitor displays live salinity and programmable alarm levels on an integral display. A 4–20 mA output provides straightforward integration with existing control systems and automated monitoring infrastructure. Built-in self-test functionality supports routine verification of measurement accuracy. The unit mounts directly to walls or instrument panels, fitting readily into engine rooms and machinery spaces.
