A wind reading is only useful if you can read it clearly. The ANEMO hand-held anemometer from Toplicht has a black plastic body and shows wind speed on four scales: Beaufort, knots, metres per second and kilometres per hour. You can work in the unit your crew or logbook uses. A pointer lock freezes the current measured value, which makes the reading easier to take and record. The shell cross, the rotating part that catches the wind, is protected during storage by the protective cap supplied with the instrument. If the cap is lost or damaged, a replacement is available separately.
