Full description
The DT844FF is an industrial-grade VHF radio engineered specifically for maritime firefighting operations. It broadcasts across all marine channels (INT/USA/CAN) with a powerful 3.9 Watt transmitter that cuts through high-noise environments on deck and in engine spaces. The radio is submersible to IP68, rated to 2 metres depth for 4 hours, and withstands MIL-STD 810 shock, vibration and thermal extremes. A 1800 mAh lithium-ion battery delivers 12 hours of continuous operation in analogue mode.
The bright white-on-black OLED display and high-torque controls remain fully operable even when wearing heavy firefighting gloves. All controls and connectors feature gold plating and salt water anti-corrosion treatment, essential for sustained offshore use.
VIKING stocks this radio as part of its comprehensive LSA range for supply and global support across your fleet.
