Claus Sørensen Group extends main sponsorship with Esbjerg fB until 2029

Claus Sørensen Group will continue as main sponsor of Esbjerg fB for the next three seasons. The agreement covers both the elite division and the parent club and reflects confidence in the club’s ongoing rebuilding.

Esbjerg fB and Claus Sørensen Group will continue their collaboration when the current sponsorship agreement expires in summer 2026.

The parties have agreed on a new main sponsorship agreement, extending the existing 10-year partnership by a further three years until 2029.

The agreement covers both EfB Elite A/S and the parent club and reflects Claus Sørensen Group’s ambition to support both grassroots and elite levels.

Allan L. Agerholm, CEO of EfB, expresses great satisfaction with the new agreement and emphasises the importance of continued support:

“Claus Sørensen Group has for many years been a very important part of EfB, standing by us through both good times and challenging periods. The extension of the main sponsorship is therefore a strong vote of confidence in the development we are currently driving. The agreement strengthens our foundation and helps ensure that we can continue rebuilding EfB both sportingly, organisationally and commercially.”

“At the same time, the support for the academy and the parent club is vital, as it forms the foundation of EfB’s future. We are proud of this backing and very grateful that Claus Sørensen Group continues to take significant responsibility for the club, the city and the wider regional football community,” says Allan L. Agerholm.

Jesper Toft Mathiasen, Group CEO of Claus Sørensen Group, sees it as both natural and relevant to continue the partnership:

“We have supported the club through a challenging period, with headwinds both on and off the pitch. Through a strong joint effort, we have helped ensure that the direction is now once again positive for EfB, both sportingly and organisationally.

Claus Sørensen Group has taken significant responsibility in bringing the club back into local ownership, and by continuing as main sponsor, we contribute to securing the financial foundation needed to rebuild the club. We naturally hope that our example can inspire other companies to support EfB as the football club for the entire region,” says Jesper Toft Mathiasen.

VIKING Life-Saving Equipment, the largest company within Claus Sørensen Group, will be featured on the front of the players’ shirts over the next three years, across both elite and wider levels, says CEO Henrik Helsinghof:

“VIKING has a strong connection to Esbjerg, and we are very pleased to continue our collaboration with EfB for another three years. We believe EfB belongs at the top of Danish football, and it means a great deal to our employees to see our logo on the players’ shirts as they work to rebuild the club. It is equally positive that we have extended a similar main sponsorship agreement with the parent club, meaning that VIKING will be visible on the shirts going forward,” he says.
