Designed for faster donning. Ready when every second counts.

The VIKING YouSafe™ Crest immersion suit is now available in an updated and improved version with a specific focus on fast and easy donning.

It is designed for professional use in cold-water environments where time, fit, and reliability matter. The suit provides proven thermal protection and practical design improvements that make donning easier and faster in emergencies.

With standardised specifications and reliable availability, the YouSafe™ Crest supports US operators managing safety across vessels and fleets.

Easier donning without compromising performance

In an emergency, immersion protection must be quick to put on and reliable in the water. The YouSafe™ Crest features detachable gloves and an extended Aquaseal plastic zipper designed to support easier and faster donning. The zipper is positioned for comfort, requires less maintenance than metal alternatives, and helps limit water ingress when the suit is correctly maintained.

The detachable gloves allow users to fully don the suit before putting the gloves on. This provides the hand freedom needed to correctly position the suit and close the zipper all the way without fighting bulky gloves.

Why service intervals matter

Routine visual checks are important, but they are not always enough.
Experience and regulatory guidance show that some issues affecting watertight integrity cannot be seen during everyday inspections. Material quality and ageing, adhesive joints, and seam integrity must be verified through correct servicing and pressure testing at defined intervals.

Following manufacturer instructions and service intervals is essential to ensure immersion suits perform as intended when they are needed.
