VIKING’s unique direct boarding liferaft concept is the ideal solution for vessels with deck heights too low for traditional mass evacuation systems

The rectangular shape of the high capacity liferafts means they can moored alongside the vessel, thus reducing the problem of unwanted movement during evacuation. Evacuees access the high capacity liferafts directly from the embarkation station or deck.

Suits all vessel capacities
Total evacuation capacity is increased simply by adding more liferafts to the vessel. They can be stored on racks in remote areas and individually remotely released from the embarkation station. The liferaft can be pulled to the evacuation point manually or by using a bowsing winch.
