VIKING offers several types of containers according to the specific customer needs, including:

Blast proof containers
Compact containers

Evacuation Chute
The fire retardent evacuation chute provides a simple, safe and fast method of transferring evacuees from deck levels down to sea level. It is divided into cells with speed retarding slides running at opposing angles in a zigzag effect. Openings on each cell located behind the slides, provide easy entry and exit at any point on the chute. The design of the chute enables evacuees to wear lifejackets, survival suits, and breathing apparatus.

VENOC

High capacity evacuation system for FPSO's drillships and special purpose offshore vessels

VENOC is the most flexible evacuation chute system available for vessels today. It can be used at evacuation heights between 5-39 metres and can cope with list conditions of up to 20.

Specially designed for ship shaped offshore installations
The VENOC evacuation systm is installed on the open deck or between decks with only four small footprints(bolted to installation deck). A hydraulic arrangement tilts the evacuation system into position for depolymnet. The main self-rigthing liferaft is connected to the buoyancy device and inflates automaticallyu at sea level- making it simple to board. No bowing lines or welded connection points on the ship's side are necessary.

Compact and "one go" system
Flexible evacuation heights from 5 to 35 meters
No bowsing lines or welded connection points on ship's side
Neutral at 17 trim and 20 list conditions.
Operating temperatures from -20C to +65C
Flush with ship side when stowed and cantilevered when deplyed
Integrated 50 or 100 person self-righting liferafts
Optional steering line to guide direction of main liferaft
Max. evacuation capacity: 125 persons within 10 minutes

VIKING SES-2C Arctic

For fixed installations

VIKING has developed a new evacuation system specifically designed for frozen waters and harsh polar environments. Severe winters can limit rescue operations. Fog makes evacuation by helicopter unsafe and winter ice makes the use of free fall lifeboats impossible. VIKING has therefore modified its already proven offshore chute system to cope with the special conditions encountered when evacuating by chute directly onto a ship.
