How do I apply?

You can see our current vacancies in the Jobs section of this website. Send your application and CV to jobs@viking-life.com

Please write the job title on your application and include your personal data; your name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, employment and educational background, professional and personal skills. Tell us why you are interested in the position. You may of course also send an unsolicited application.

All personal data is treated in the strictest confidence. Only VIKING's Human Resource department and the relevant managers will have access to your data. The information you send us will not be sent to a third party.

Applications are kept on a database for six months.


What is VIKING's recruiting procedure?

You will receive a confirmation approximately one week after we have received your application.

All applications are thoroughly reviewed. Suitable candidates are selected for an initial interview. Should you be called to a second round, you will be asked to complete a personality profile, which will form the basis of the interview.

Most recruitment processes are completed approximately one month after the closing date for applications. Should you not be contacted after one month, you have not been selected for an interview on this occasion. You are of course welcome to apply for any future positions you may find of interest.

How can I develop with VIKING?

Our comprehensive employee development programmes provide a wealth of training and educational possibilities. New employees participate in a thorough introduction programme, and annual appraisals ensure proper planning of courses and development programmes.


How will my career progress?

Can I have an international career?

VIKING headquarters works internationally. We also have 40 branches worldwide with sales departments, so there are good prospects for an international career. We also offer postings abroad for suitable employees including experts in various fields such as engineering, production planning and IT.


Can I become a trainee with VIKING?

VIKING offers a trainee programme at headquarters in Denmark.

Office trainees rotate through 4 different departments during their 2 year period; sales, purchasing, marketing and finance, Trainees are expected to follow a college education in business, which VIKING finances.

Technical Designer trainees are employed for a 1 year period. They have the opportunity of working in at least one of our technical departments; Raft Engineering, MES Engineering and PPE Production and Planning.

We support design, business and engineering students working on projects as part of their education, and can offer challenging projects. Contact us for further information.
