Welcome to VIKING LIFE-SAVING EQUIPMENT

Survival suit

VIKING’s immersion suits provide maximum protection for those working in or near water where there is a danger of accidental immersion. It is a fact that in an emergency at sea, a person's chances of survival after immersion in water are greatly improved if he can remain dry. This removes the risk of 'cold shock' the so-called hypothermia and increases the time before hypothermia sets in. VIKING's suits are designed to provide maximum protection during immersion in the sea and comfort during constant wear, either in transport or during working time. Totally enclosed, single-piece coveralls incorporating unique features and thus providing effective protection against cold or heat and ensuring free movement during work. They can keep the wearer warm and dry for up to 6 hours. These suits are worn by workers in various situations on board fishing vessels, passenger and cargo ships, ferries, offshore, coast guards, rescue boats and man overboard boats. The PU coated nylon PS5002 Immersion suit has adjustable braces, lifting becket and buddy line. Buoyancy in the back means that it is approved for use without a lifejacket. The PS2004 is a suit made of 5mm neoprene is insulated and worn in conjunction with a lifejacket. The PS5005 is PU coated nylon with an integrated lifejacket. It has adjustable braces, detachable buoyancy chamber and buddy line. All VIKING SOLAS personal protective equipment is approved according to the EU Council Directive 96/98/EC on Marine Equipment and SOLAS regulations.
