	Lifeboat servicing Choosing the right equipment to safeguard lives at sea is a matter of the utmost importance. It is equally vital to ensure that all equipment is professionally maintained. Under current legislation life-saving equipment must be serviced every twelve months. Servicing must be carried out at an authorised VIKING servicing station manned by qualified personnel who are regularly trained and follow strict factory procedures. Here lifeboats are unpacked, inflated and thoroughly examined and tested to ensure that the lifeboat remains in tip-top condition. The VIKING group is represented by a network of approximately 270 authorised servicing stations, 25 agents and 17 subsidiaries and headquarters in Denmark.
