Take Nikolai, for example. He’s new to VIKING as a trainee and, after three months immersed in Sales, he will move to Service, then to PPE Trade (personal protective clothing) then to the United Kingdom where he’ll spend a year with his own portfolio of customers.

Simon, who started as a safety equipment surveyor, is now leading a team of service staff in the Netherlands. His mentors at VIKING provided constant encouragement, had faith in him, and selected him to attend the company’s Global Management Development Program at Copenhagen Business School.

Then there’s Kathrine, who quickly moved from supporting sales to helping to develop VIKING’s global business as the initiative owner for key shipowner service agreements and evacuation systems in the passenger ship segment.
